PREPAY CAP CONTRACT

AVOID HIGH WINTER PRICE SPIKES. Did you know that you can pre-purchase your winter propane? This program used in conjunction with your Summer-fill delivery (see below) will allow you to protect yourself from potentially high winter prices. Anyone can participate! All that is required is that your summer-fill delivery be paid and that you pre-purchase the winter gallons you will need for the upcoming heating season by September 20th. In doing this, you are contracting the gallons at a capped price, which means the price cannot go higher. However, if the market price drops below the cap rate- your price follows. Contracted gallons will be delivered from October 1st to April 30th. Any gallons undelivered will be credited back to your account as a dollar credit. This credit can be used toward future purchases at market price or refunded to you at your request. All contracts must be signed and paid in full by September 20th to be accepted. Any unpaid balance that occurs during the contract period (i.e. tank rent fees, service work, parts, etc) is subject to being satisfied by your contract funds, which will reduce your winter contract gallons, and funds.

 

AUTO-FILL DELIVERY PROGRAM

SAVE 5-CENTS PER GALLON by allowing us to manage your propane deliveries. How you take delivery of your propane directly affects our efficiency. Our Auto-Fill plan computes your usage, and delivery is made when the tank is around 25%. This allows us to route our trucks most efficiently, and in return we pass the savings on to you. Auto-fill requires an approved, open account, which must be kept current to ensure uninterrupted deliveries. Contracted gallons delivered on automatic fill status will be delivered at the contract rate. Should your account go past due for any reason, your deliveries will be suspended and you will be removed from auto-fill. Auto-fill deliveries tend to be larger so keep in mind we have Budget Billing to help manage your heating expenses.

AUTO-FILL with BUDGET BILLING

SAVE 5-CENTS PER GALLON AND SPREAD YOUR HEATING BILL OUT OVER 11-MONTHS. Take advantage of all the benefits of Auto-Fill with the convenience of an even monthly payment. Budget Billing begins in May of each year, and works like an escrow account. Your budget rate is calculated on your past usage and projected winter prices. Your account will be audited regularly to prevent large overpayments or underpayments from accumulating. Your budget rate may be adjusted due to unexpected changes in usage or propane prices (severe cold weather, etc.). It is very important that your payments be prompt and consistent since this is a premium service we are providing without interest or service charges. Should you miss a budget payment for any reason, your deliveries will be suspended and you will be removed from Budget Billing. This results in your entire account balance being due immediately. You will not be eligible to return to Budget Billing until the following season.

WILL - CALL

DELIVERY PROGRAM customers simply call-in to order a delivery when needed. We require a 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled delivery day. For your convenience, we have an automated answering system when placing orders during the evenings or over the weekend. Your order will be processed the following workday, and delivery will be made on your normal scheduled delivery day. Please be sure to check the level of your tank regularly and place your order when the level is around 25%. If we do not have 24-hour notice, or should you run out of propane and need a special delivery, a service charge will be assessed. (see Out of Gas for service charges)

C.O.D. - (payment on delivery)

Same description applies as Will-Call customer except payment arrangements must be made with the office prior to delivery. You have the option of making payments throughout the month to build up credit toward your next delivery. A monthly statement will be sent to you reflecting any credit balance.

OFF ROUTE & EMERGENCY DELIVERIES

We require 24-hour notice on all propane orders. An additional service charge will be assessed for same day or off day deliveries. If your tank is out, you will also be subject to tank outage fees. These fees are assesed on a progressive scale. Please contact your local branch office for specific charges. Please watch your gauge closely. We do not want you to run out! Customers who continue to allow the tanks to run out will be subject to having their service terminated.

Off Route & Emergency delivery fees do not apply to Auto-Fill or Auto-Fill with Budget Billing customers unless deliveries have been suspended due to non-payment of account.

AFTER HOURS 'OUT OF GAS' SITUATION
& EMERGENCY HOTLINE 1-888-523-1000

In the unfortunate event that you should run out of propane: Shut off the gas valve on the propane tank; shut valves off to all gas appliances, and contact Energy Partners for refueling. If an outage occurs, your family or property could be at risk. Therefore, safety procedures must be performed. Energy Partners requires that with any Out of Gas situation, you or another responsible adult be at your home at the time of delivery. We CANNOT make an Out of Gas delivery without complete access to your entire propane system. A leak test will be performed, all pilots will be relit and/or we will insure that the electronic ignition system has reset.
