Controller – Missoula

Energy Partners is recruiting a full-time position for a Controller.  Controller will keep, provide, and is accountable for accurate financial information for the company.  The Controller will report directly to the General Manager to ensure financial data is managed appropriately.

Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

➢ Perform tasks assigned by the General Manager
➢ Ensure general ledger is accurate monthly
➢ Ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled to appropriate support
➢ Prepare monthly financial statements
➢ Ensure financial reporting is in a user-friendly format
➢ Keep cash balances current
➢ Provide regular sales reports
➢ Prepare for and assist in the annual audit
➢ Cash management on a daily basis to ensure interest income is as high as possible
➢ Assist in collecting on past due accounts
➢ Prepare annual budgets
➢ Prepare and report financial data for the Board of Directors
➢ Prepare an oversite of Accounts Payable, including coding and approving vendor invoices
➢ Prepare and assist in the reporting of employee deductions to outside vendors for funding or payroll deductions
➢ Oversite of the Accounting II position
➢ Prepare periodic forecasts as required
➢ Implementation of intercompany billing with Mountain West
➢ Make and ensure all bank deposits are made in a timely manner
➢ Approve all new customer accounts for credit purposes
➢ Prepare annual profit sharing and ensure funding
➢ Performs any other duties as assigned

Special Requirements

➢ Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 plus year's experience
➢ Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneDrive
➢ Ability to work extended hours as needed
➢ Propane Experience Preferred
