Energy Partners is recruiting a full-time position for an IT Support.  Energy Partners IT Support is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems.  Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.  Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and the system applications.  Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications.  Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the company.

Esssential Duties & Responsibilities

➢ Manages the day-to-day operations of host computers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
➢ Performs troubleshooting for users and drivers as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often, involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
➢ Must be able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff to troubleshoot problems.
➢ Develops and coordinates project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the organization.
➢ Solves issues and creates processes and procedures surrounding the core fuel distribution software solution to help ensure the efficient delivery of fuel and proper customer account care.
➢ Leads the company in software training.
➢ Manages truck routing software and assists management and drivers to achieve the best delivery efficiency possible.
➢ Maintains technology vendor relationships, vets new and existing vendors to provide the company with the highest level of performance for the lowest cost.
➢ Manages the company website and payment portal with the assistance of vendors.
➢ Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet Systems. Perform network address assignments.
➢ Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
➢ Maintain network equipment on site at each company location. Upgrade and organize as required.
➢ Performs any other duties as assigned.

Special Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:
 Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
 IT Experience Preferred
