JOB SUMMARY

Energy Partners, LLC (EP) is a leading propane supplier in Western Montana, providing reliable and trustworthy service to customers in Missoula, Seeley Lake, Thompson Falls, Superior, Ronan, Drummond, Hamilton, and surrounding areas since 2001. EP is co-owned by Missoula Electric Cooperative and CHS Mountain West Cooperative, both with a successful history of serving the energy needs of Western Montana.

 

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Information Technology Specialist at Energy Partners, LLC in Missoula, MT. The Lead IT Specialist will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, network security, leading software delivery updates and providing support to all our locations.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Assists in managing the daily operations of host computers through monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software.  Works with vendors to assist support activities.
    • Performs troubleshooting for users and drivers as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often, involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
    • Assists in developing and coordinating project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the organization.
    • Solves issues and creates processes and procedures surrounding the core fuel distribution software solution to help ensure the efficient delivery of fuel and proper customer account care.
    • Maintains technology vendor relationships, vets new and existing vendors to provide the company with the highest level of performance for the lowest cost.
    • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet Systems. Perform network address assignments.
    • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
    • Maintain network equipment on site at each company location. Upgrade and organize as required.
    • Performs any other duties as assigned.
    • Network Administration, Information Technology, and Troubleshooting skills
    • Network Security knowledge and experience
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Experience in the energy industry is a plus
    • Relevant certifications in IT or related fields are preferred

Education/Experience Requirements:

Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
